Princess, Rebel and Stateswoman, Leia was born alongside her twin brother, Luke, to Senator Padme Amidala and Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker at the close of the Clone Wars.

Adopted by Senator Bail Organa of the royal house of Alderaan, Leia spent her early life among the noble elite of her home-world. Through her father's teachings, Leia would eventually come to detest the Empire.

Working as an agent for her father's own rebellious schemes, Leia would quickly develop a number of relationships with future founders of the Rebel Alliance.

After the destruction of Alderaan by the Emperor's Death Star super-weapon, Leia would come into contact with her long-lost brother Luke as well as her future husband, Han Solo.

Throughout the war, Leia would continue to serve the Rebellion as an agent, commander and figurehead. With the death of the Emperor and eventual defeat of the Empire, Leia would transition into the role of a personal advisor to the Republic's first Chancellor, Mon Mothma.

Five years on Leia continues to busy herself as a close personal advisor to Mothma and, more recently, as mother to twins of her own, Bail and Jaina.
